H2S or Hydrogen
Sulphide training is required in many industries including pulp and
paper, waste water treatment, geophysical/seismic and the petroleum
industry just to mention a few. Whatever level you need Safety Now has
a course to suit you.
H2S Alive
Certification through Enform.
H2S Alive is a 1 day course involving 8 hours of instruction. Course
content includes H2S properties, the initial response strategy, respiratory
protective equipment, detection of H2S, rescue techniques and rescue
breathing. This is the most widely accepted course and is mandatory
when working in the petroleum industry.
H2S Action/Awareness
Containing the same information as the H2S Alive course. H2S is priced
lower and more popular in industry where H2S training is needed but
not mandatory.
H2S Awareness
H2S Awareness is exactly that. It's a half day course designed for people
who need to know the H2S basics. It is a condensed course but still
contains information regarding properties of H2S, respitory protective
equipment, detection devices and rescue techniques.
